Thermistors are thermally sensitive resistors whose electrical resistance changes predictively based on their body temperature. EI Sensor produces NTC and PTC thermistors in both standard and custom configurations.

NTC or negative-temperature-coefficient thermistors exhibit a large and predictable decrease in electrical resistance when subjected to an increase in body temperature.
